Twins Plus Library
by Elaine Rae
I am confident that all of you twin parents out there sit down in an easy chair at 8 o'clock every evening: house cleaned; dishes done; children sleeping like angels and nothing left to do but read a good book. What?! You mean you haven’t yet experienced this fantasy existence!!! Well you need help, and the Twins Club Library can come to your rescue. If you are still reeling from the shock of giving birth to twins you need ‘Double Trouble: Twins and How to Survive Them’ by Emma Mahony. Are your cherubs not sleeping through the night? Borrow ‘Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems’ by Dr. Richard Ferber. If you need ideas on how to stimulate your babies in that spare 5 minutes, the ‘Baby Skills Book’ by Miriam Stoppard is essential.
Don't waste money that could help pay the loan you took out to buy nappies. Borrow books from the library for nothing. And don’t worry … the loan period will stretch to several months because, after twins, I know that’s how long it takes to get through a book.
The library is at Baby and Toddler group every week, just ask to see it if its not already out.
